Triple dose of dog mushing

It was a very busy Sunday for local mushers last weekend, with three races happening in the Whitehorse area – two in Mount Lorne and one in Ibex Valley – with both the Dog Powered Sports Association of the Yukon (DPSAY) and the Yukon Dog Mushers Association (YDMA) hosting events on Jan. 16, 2022.

With a number of races and other events delayed this winter due to the cold snap and the ongoing pandemic, the comparatively warmer weather was the only excuse anyone needed to get out and enjoy a crisp afternoon on the trails.
